Roommate Fight Leads To Charges | Crime

An Austin man faces charges following a weekend fight with his roommate.

Police were called to a home in the 900 block of fourth avenue northeast  on Saturday afternoon on a report of a fight.

A 27 year old man was arrested for allegedly assaulting his 33 year old roommate.

The victim told police he was punched in the face and neck by his roomie, who also threw a beer bottle at him and broke a chair over his back.

The victim was not seriously injured.

The 27 year old suspect could face a charge of second degree assault.
