Paper Delivery Car Starts on Fire | News

A scary situation for a paper delivery man this morning.

Jim Kominek was on his way to pick up papers for his shift with the Austin Daily Herald when his car began smoking.  He pulled over and got out near the Herald parking lot.  That's when his vehicle became engulfed in flames.     

Austin firefighters arrived quickly to the scene and put the fire out. 

Kominek did not suffer serious injuries, however, he was treated for smoke inhalation.
